Friday, March 5 – Dinosaur Feathers, Darlings, Lonnie Walker, Pearl & The Beard

The Studio at Webster Hall is hosting the CD Release show for this surf-pop band’s new album “Fantasy Memorial”. Deli Mag had this to day about their music: “Dinosaur Feathers’ charmer of a debut single is called “History Lessons,” and true to its name, the tune is a primer on good sounds past. With its Beach Boys harmonies and clap-along beat, the song starts in the early ’60s, as blue and refreshing as Pacific Ocean surf.” Catch them before they hit SXSW later this month!

Joining the band will be Darlings, a band who Time Out New York says “are stepping into their name and becoming something of an It band. Why? It must be the group’s short, catchy and ultra-listenable guitar jams with just-out-of-college subjects like girls, getting evicted, partying and TV.”

Also on the bill is Lonnie Walker from Raleigh. Check out a video of Lonnie performing the song “Back Home Inside With You” here.

Opening the show will be Brooklyn’s own Pearl and the Beard. Download a FREE 13-track mixtape featuring the band (and show headliners Dinosaur Feathers) here.
